Research Advisory Committee (RAC) meeting 2016
The Research Advisory Committee (RAC) meeting of ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region is being held during 21st – 22nd September, 2016 at Umiam under the chairmanship of Dr. S.P. Ghosh former DDG Horticulture. Other members present in the meeting were
- Dr. Chandan Rajkhowa former Director NRC Mithun, Nagaland.
- Dr. Mathura Rai former Director IIVR Bareilly.
- Dr. S.K. Dhyani former Director Central Agroforestry, Jhansi.
- Dr. S. Bhaskar ADG Agronomy.
Dr. S. V. Ngachan extended a warm welcome to all the members and presented the achievements and future programmes of the Institute. All completed projects of the institute were reviewed and suggestions were made for future research work. On this day three book were also published “Spatial Database on Natural Resources of Barak Valley” by B.U Choudhury, P.T Das, S.V. Ngachan, D.J. Rajkhowa, K.P Mohapatra, L. Nomgkhlaw and C. Goswami “Organic Disease management in Silanaceous Vegetable Crops of Nagaland” by Rajesha G, A. Thirugnanavel, D.J. Rajkhowa, Bidyut C. Deka and S.V. Ngachan and “Assam Parvatya Bakhri by Ashok Kumar, G. Kadirvel, Mahak Singh, P.K Bharati, Suresh Kumar, Dr. S Gautam Khajaria, A.S Panwar, A.K. Mohanty, Arnab Sen and S.V. Ngachan.
